MagicPub ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered medical publication generation platform.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information through Supabase Authentication. When you use our services, we collect the research prompts and documents you submit for publication generation. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment information — we do not store credit card numbers on our servers. We also collect standard usage data such as IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.
We use your information to provide and improve our AI-powered publication generation service, process your subscription payments, communicate with you about your account and our services, and ensure the security of our platform. Your research prompts and uploaded documents may be sent to third-party AI and literature-search providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Exa, solely for the purpose of generating your publication content.
Your account data and generated publications are stored securely in Supabase. We use HTTPS for all data transmission and follow industry-standard security practices. File uploads are processed ephemerally for publication generation and are not intended to be retained as permanent source files after processing completes.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI-powered content generation, and Exa for literature research and citation sourcing. Each service has its own privacy policy governing its handling of your data.
We use essential cookies for authentication session management. These cookies are necessary for the functioning of our service and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your generated publications from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@magicpub.ai. For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): you have the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to object to processing. For California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what data we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt-out of data sales (we do not sell your data).
We retain your account information and generated publications for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
